Highlights
of various activities leaded by MTMA
A)
Technology Up gradation Program
Under
this scheme UNIDO have adopted12 Units of MTMA for technology up
gradation program. This program is running successfully in
Rajkot and by looking towards the success of on going project,
procedures to start second phase of this program is under
process and consideration.

Exhibition
is very good platform for manufacturers to display their product
and direct B2B communication between actual user and
manufacturers.
MTMA
and UNIDO have organized Rajkot pavilion in industrial
exhibitions and offered space in exhibition with subsidies rates
to their members and inspired them to participate & exhibits
their products in exhibition.

MTMA
and UNIDO had organized foreign delegation and invited their
members with nominal charges to visit international exhibition
and arranged industrial visit of various manufacturing units in
respected foreign country.

Study tour to Bangalore / Belguam
April 2004
MTMA
and UNIDO had organized industrial tour with co operation of
IMTMA ( Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association ) their
members to visit various well established manufacturing units of
machine tools industries and foundry in Bangalore and Belgaum.

Organizing training program
( Forth coming event )
MTMA
and UNIDO are intending jointly to organized technical training
program in Rajkot for the members in the important areas of
Design, Tooling, Manufacturing, Inspection of machine tools by
inviting expert faculty from CMTI ( Central Manufacturing
Technology Institutes ) and other Technical Experts from the
related field.

CMTI Local center in Rajkot
CMTI
have started local center in NSIC campus to provide service of
calibration of the measuring instruments.
G)
Distribution of Members Directory and CD
MTMA
have prepared Members Directory and CD indicating full details
of all members and distributed during IMTEX – 2004 exhibition
with an intention to gets benefits to the members who have
participate as well as not participate in IMTEX – 2004.
H)
Catalogue show of Taiwan products
MTMA,
Rajkot Chambers of Commerce & Industries and Taiwan world
trade center - liaison office (Mumbai) have jointly organized
catalogue show in Rajkot and provided information to the
members for business opportunity in Taiwan.

with the help of other Govt. Institutions are performing as best
as possible for the good platform for members to up grade and
develop their business with the present scenario to match global
markets .
